| Description | FUTURE SUMMIT 2009: Priorities for a Post-Crisis World In today’s world challenges such as the global financial crisis, climate change and war resonate globally. Effective leadership in this environment requires us to learn from the past and embrace fundamental principles that provide the foundation for a cooperative, coordinated and compassionate future. An initiative of the Australian Davos Connection, Future Summit is the nation’s premier platform for the discussion of strategic trends and directions. It is unique in providing a collaborative framework for participants from all sectors to share ideas, discuss the issues and develop actionable options. Future Summit invites participants from across all sectors of Australian society. ADC endeavours to achieve significant representation from each sector (community, education, business and government), from across generations, and from a diversity of cultural/ethnic backgrounds right around Australia. In addition, international representatives from the region and beyond are invited to add a strong global perspective to the Summit's discussions. Asialink is proud to be an Associated Organisation of the Future Summit 2009. |
