Tuesday, 16 May 2006

In one of the biggest corporate Asialink events for 2006 the Chief Executive of AXA Asia Pacific, Les Owen, told an Asialink lunch briefing that AXA's Asia operations contributed 50 per cent of AXA's profit and this trend would continue into the future as markets in Asia mature. In an information packed session, the participants at this briefing heard that notwithstanding the challenges posed by China, China remains one fo the most promising markets globally.
In addition to market challenges, Mr. Owen also identified development of high quality local talent as one of the biggest challenges facing AXA.
