A Night of Stories about India:
In Conversation with Vikram Seth
With author Mr Vikram Seth in conversation
with Mr Hamish McDonald
Carrillo Gantner Theatre, Sidney Myer Asia Centre, The University of Melbourne
Tuesday, 14 March 2006
In what will no doubt be regarded as a 2006 highlight, author Vikram Seth addressed a capacity audience at Asialink. Co-hosted by Asialink and Readings Books and Music. The event was the third in the 'Asialink Night of Stories' series where authors talk about their work in relation to the Asian region. Mr. Seth read from his latest book 'Two Lives', and in conversation with Mr. Hamish McDonald from The Sydney Morning Herald, Seth demonstrated to a delighted audience his one-armed uncle's dental techniques.
Mr. Seth was kind enough to undertake a lengthy book signing session after the lecture for devoted fans and literary trainspotters.
