At the time of this exhibition, Dorothy Napangardi had recently enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence. Despite this, a major exhibition of her large paintings which reflect her life and people in the central desert had not be shown in Australia or Internationally and so it was seen as an opportune time to develop a solo exhibition of her work.
This solo exhibition toured to the Sydney, Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur (2003-2004).
