Exhibitions on Tour

Since 1991, Asialink has toured over 80 exhibitions of contemporary Australian art to over 200 venues in Asia, creating an unprecedented amount of international opportunities for Australian artists, curators and arts administrators in Asia. Through our touring exhibition program, Asialink provides opportunities for Asian audiences to access the most current contemporary Australian art, craft and design and new media - wherever they live. The exhibitions have been developed in partnership with museums and galleries around Australia and hosted by collegiate institutions and organisations in the region. We are dedicated to building and widening networks for Australian arts community while enabling opportunities for future project development, reciprocity and personal connections to be established. The Touring Exhibitions Program has fostered significant partnerships for continuing engagements with Australian large and smaller not for profit organizations including the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Devonport Regional Gallery, Experimenta, Gallery 4A, Heide Museum of Modern Art, MCA, National Gallery of Victoria, Next Wave Festival, MAGNT, Object, PICA and West Space.
