Keiko Aoki (VIC)

In 2008, Keiko Aoki celebrated 10 years as Director of Global Japan Network , an organization dedicated to producing cross-cultural arts projects by Australian and Asian artists. Aoki has worked in a wide array of media and with many different events including the Aichi World Expo (Japan) in 2005 and the Mix It Up program at the Arts Centre (Melbourne) in 2006. During her time with Hong Kong Arts Festival and Hong Kong Fringe Club Aoki organised a symposium on international arts funding models, gave a presentation on contemporary Australian dance and began thye development of collaboration and exchange programs between performers and venues in Hong Kong and Australia.
