Performing Arts

All cultures value dance, music and theatre in their various forms.

The Asialink Performing Arts Program encourages Australians to engage with colleagues and partners in Asian countries to develop ideas and projects that celebrate each culture's richness and potential.

Opportunities for the exchange of skills, ideas and networks across boundaries of culture and practice are generated through the Residency Program. The program also initiates special bilateral projects in focus countries.

A focus on individual development underlies the program, leading to the creation of exciting collaborations, performances and future audiences.
