International Program
Asialink’s Education program, the Asia Education Foundation (AEF), provides educators with opportunities to participate in a range of in-country professional learning program including study tours, exchanges, international conferences and intensive in-country training.
Since 1993 over 3,000 educators have taken part in these programs in Australia, China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
International program includes:
- AEF Study Tours are in-country professional learning programs affording Australian teachers an insight into some of the most vibrant and diverse societies in the Asian region.
- The BRIDGE Project aims to increase knowledge and understanding of young Australians through school-to-school partnerships with Indonesia, Korea, and China.
- Linking Latitudes is an international conference and field trip program for Australian educators held triennially in the Asian region. Linking Latitudes India was held in October 2007.
