Jenni left Perth after completing a Bachelor of Business for the lights ofCanberra as a graduate economist with the Department of Finance.  Roles in various fiscal and social policy areas including public and crisis housing, health and regional development followed a few extended overseas trips.
She moved to the UK in 1996 initially working in the Policy and Strategic Management Group of Shell International. She went on to manage a youth hostel in a very isolated part of the Devon coast.

Returning to Australia, she moved to Melbourne to take up a position with the Victorian Treasury. From there she has undertaken varied roles including developing a change management project at the Department of Human Services, managing community grants and celebrations for the 2001 Centenary of Federation, Corporate Program Manager at Medibank Private and currently managing proposals for new initiatives and projects at Arts Victoria.
