Jennifer Lewis is currently employed as an Assistant Director in the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and has worked in regulation and financial services for 14 years. For 6 months in 2006 Jennifer represented ASIC working with the Indonesian securities regulator, Bapepam-LK, as a part of Australian aid following the 2004 tsunami, to develop aspects of regulatory practice in corporate finance, market supervision and enforcement.
In March 2007 Jennifer represented ASIC at an APEC Financial Regulators' Training Initiative in Beijing, delivering training on regulatory issues for hedge funds and other collective investment schemes to representatives of securities regulators in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Pakistan, India, Chinese Taipei and the People's Republic of China.
