Mark has over 10 years experience as an adult educator and project manager in the banking and finance sector.  He has developed education and training programs, job aids and evaluation systems for areas as diverse as sales and service, products and software applications.  For the past 8 years he has been a University administrator and manager with responsibility for developing research funding proposals and quality systems for project administration. Mark’s current role focuses on the development of large, multi-organisation collaborative research projects and programs, especially those with an international dimension and he believes participation in the AsiaLink Leaders Program will be beneficial in this work and in many other areas of his life.

Mark has postgraduate qualifications in management, adult education and science and technology commercialization and has a passion for developing high performing teams, managing change and business process improvement – he is also a keen amateur musician and cyclist. Currently Mark is a liaison officer for the Forum for European Australian Science & Technology (FEAST) and chairs the Professional Development Committee of the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) where he recently designed and implemented a Mentor Scheme for members.
