Nicholas Campbell is the Executive Director of Corporate & Government Affairs for the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies in Australia & New Zealand. He joined Johnson & Johnson in February 2001.
Mr Campbell has responsibility for all J&J external affairs including; government relations, media management, corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, issues management and industry affairs.
Reporting to the Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Corporate Headquarters in the United States from January 2005, he is Corporate & Public affairs counsel to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies in Australia & New Zealand. These include Janssen-Cilag Australia (Pharmaceuticals), J&J Medical (Devices and Diagnostics), J&J Pacific (Consumer), J&J Research (Research Company), Tasmanian Alkaloids (Agriculture) and Du Puy (Orthopaedics). In 2004 he was appointed to the Board of Janssen-Cilag Australia.
Mr Campbell brings more than 17 years of government & public affairs experience to Johnson & Johnson, spanning corporate, government, consultancy and not for profit organizations.
He was previously the Corporate Affairs Manager of Eli Lilly Australia Pty Ltd, a global pharmaceutical company. In this role from July 1999, Mr Campbell had responsibility covering all aspects of corporate affairs and communications.
Mr Campbell was previously a Political Adviser to the Parliamentary Secretary to Cabinet in the Australian Parliament from June 1996. During this period, Mr Campbell served in a number of policy & communications roles for the Federal Coalition Government.
Mr Campbell has a Bachelor Degree in Government/Public Policy from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma in Conflict Management (Negotiation) from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
