Sam Adie
Mr Sam Adie
Junior Medical Officer
St. George Hospital
Dr. Sam Adie is a Resident Medical Officer at St. George Hospital in Sydney, where he and his fellow junior medical officers form the backbone of public medical health care. Sam graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales in 2005. He is currently completing a Masters in Sports Medicine, and is taking the first steps towards a surgical career as a “Basic Surgical Trainee”.
Sam moved to Sydney with his family from a young age. His Arabic Muslim background has driven him to participate in grassroots work for the local community. In his free time Sam is an avid reader (of anything interesting), tennis player and loves to go on hiking trips. Sam loves to travel and has visited Western Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, the Indian Subcontinent and South East Asia. He would love to one day trek the Americas, and visit Eastern Europe and China.
