Juan-José has an undergraduate Law Degree (with honours) and an Arts Degree (with a major in History) from the University of Melbourne and holds a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from FINSIA. He is a Senior Associate within the Banking and Projects group of Freehills. He has worked at Freehills since 2001 and recently spent eleven months at the Department of Infrastructure as a commercial and strategic advisor within the Project Delivery Group.
Juan-José specialises in working on major infrastructure projects both domestically and abroad and most of the overseas work that he does is in Chile on hydro power plants. His parents are Argentinean and he is fluent in Spanish and this explains his keen interest in South American work. His hobbies include travel, literature, AFL and hiking.
