A trained secondary school teacher Lisa's interest is Asia was ignited after attending the Consortium for Teaching Asia Pacific Studies at the University of Hawaii. On her return, Lisa took on the role of Asia Education Network Leader for the Loddon Mallee Region in Victoria.
Lisa is now employed as the Asia Education Adviser for the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. This role encompasses working across education sectors to support embedding studies of Asia across the curriculum. Part of this work includes leading teacher study tours into Asia.
Lisa is also interested in exploring how ICT can be used to support 21st century learning.
