I am a constable of police in Victoria, I migrated from Lebanon in September 2000. I have a bachelor in Graphic Design and an advanced Diploma in Quality management. I can speak fluent Arabic, English and French.
I am currently positioned at Narre Warren police Station in the south eastern suburbs, although 50% of my time is temping at various police crime department where I advise them about the Middle Eastern culture and religion. I have joined Victoria Police in July 2004
In the past couple of years I concentrated my community work on educating the Muslim and Arabic community on their rights and obligations in Australia. I go around to schools and community centres giving lectures and workshops on how women in general and Muslim Women in particular can stand up to make a difference and change the stereotypes by knowing the laws, their rights as Australian citizens and their obligation towards this country that accepted them and embraced them.
