Denise is a Manager within the Business Assurance group in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sydney. She assists her clients through assessment of their business processes and working with them to improve the control environment and performance of the business.
Prior to working in Australia, Denise had worked in the areas of Corporate Governance and Risk Management advisory in the Malaysian practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, during the period when various Asian countries were developing corporate governance initiatives as a result of the Asian financial crisis.
Currently, Denise's major clients are Australian-based companies with operations in locations globally. Denise travels for work regularly to various Pacific rim countries, with the main overseas focus being in Asia. Additionally, the workforce in PricewaterhouseCoopers is racially and culturally diverse. Having lived long-term in both Malaysia and Australia and the exposure to working in cross-cultural environment, Denise maintains strong appreciation for cross-cultural interactions and understanding.
Denise has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, and is also a Certified Practising Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.
