Gordon Renouf is the Director of Policy and Campaigns at CHOICE. CHOICE campaigns on issues that matter for consumers, and publishes CHOICE Online and CHOICE magazine.

Gordon previously worked as a consultant to government and non-government organisations on consumer issues, legal services policy and other areas of social policy. He was Director of the Northern Territory Government's Alcohol Framework project, a whole of government review of alcohol policy, Director of the National Pro Bono Resource Centre at UNSW, and lead the Northern Australian Aboriginal Legal Aid Service and before that Darwin Community Legal Service.

Gordon has served on a wide range of consumer and industry bodies including as convenor of the National Association of Community Legal Centres, and as a Board member of two finance industry-based consumer complaint resolution schemes. He is currently a member of the National Electricity Market Consumer Advocacy Panel.

Recently Gordon played a key role in the organisation of the Consumers International World Congress held in Sydney in October 2007 and is currently working with the Asia Pacific office of Consumers International on a number of regional consumer issues.
