Austrade
Linda works as the Manager of Corporate Sponsorships and the Australian Export Awards at the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade). She works with Austrade offices in Australia and offshore on sponsorship matters, and manages the national level of the Export Awards program.
Linda has worked in a variety of roles with Austrade in Canberra, Indonesia and Sydney over the last nine years. She spent three years with Austrade in Jakarta as Trade Commissioner assisting Australian exporters to enter the Indonesian market. Her industry focus included information and communication technology, agribusiness, services and health. In her roles with Austrade, she has worked with exporters to participate in trade shows, outbound buyer missions, promotional product showcases and has accompanied international buyer missions to Australia.
Prior to joining Austrade, Linda worked with the Australian Customs Service in the Exports group, Border Operations and Olympics Groups.
Linda graduated from the Australian National University in Canberra in 1996 with a Bachelor of Asian Studies (Indonesian) and participated in the ACICIS program at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta Indonesia in its first year in 1995. Linda has since completed further studies and is now undertaking a Mandarin language program.
Linda has travelled through Asia, Europe, North America, Central and South America.
