Steven has recently been appointed as Regional Director for Janssen-Cilag, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. Prior to this role he was Executive Director, Health Economics & Pricing for Janssen-Cilag Australia.
His academic background is in health sciences (BSc, Grad Dip Dietetics) and he started his professional career as a private practice dietition. In his late 20's Steven changed career direction and studied business admistration and health economics (MBA Monash, MSc Health Economics York, UK). Upon completion of these studies, Steven has worked in hospital admistration, academia (Centre for Health Program Evaluation, Monash University) and in 1997 joined the pharmaceutical industry.
In his current role, Steven will be coordinating reimbursement and pricing strategies for new and existing medicines in a range of Asia-Pacific countries. He is also a senior lecturer at the School of Population Health at Melbourne University where he teaches health economics to Masters of Public Health Students.
Steven is married with 2 children.
