Bei is a policy research manager at the Australian Consulate-General, Guangzhou, China. Prior to moving to China, she worked as a consultant at GerrardBown, a sustainability strategy firm, integrating social and environmental considerations into business decision-making.
Bei has also worked as a commercial lawyer at Baker & McKenzie, in its Major Projects practice group, and has been a financial analyst at the Ford Motor Company. In her spare time, she enjoys contributing to the sustainable living projects of Future Canvas, a Melbourne NGO, dragon boating racing, cycling and hiking.
