Brendan is Chief Executive and General Counsel of the Australian Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) and Chairman of FIFPro Asia, the Asian division of FIFPro, the world footballers’ union, representing over 57,000 professionals. A co-founder of the PFA in 1993, Brendan is a leading advocate not only of the rights of players, but also of Australian football. 

A member of the 2003 National Soccer League Task Force, he is presently leading FIFPro’s efforts to develop effective players’ associations throughout Asia including in China, South Korea, India and Indonesia. 

He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Administration.
