Fergus is a commercial manager with Jetstar, responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives across the business, and working closely on Jetstar’s Pan Asian expansion strategy. Specific responsibilities include project managing the full integration of the Jetstar business in Australia with the Jetstar Asia businesses in Singapore.
Fergus’ interest in Asia stems from family connections, experience in the martial arts and extensive travel throughout the region. Fergus first travelled to Asia in 1997, spending a semester at China’s Nanjing Institute of Sport via a university exchange program.
After graduating from university, Fergus worked as a change management consultant for six years. In 2007, Fergus took time away from work to complete his MBA and to travel throughout Asia, Europe and South America. On returning in 2008, Fergus took a role with Jetstar Airways.
Fergus completed his MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management in 2007 and holds a Grad Dip. in Organisational Psychology and a B.Ap.Sci in Sports Science and Psychology.
