Lisa Renkin holds a Masters of Public Health from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and is an international public health practitioner with expertise in managing and providing technical advice to programs in developing countries. Coming from a background of social justice she has specialised in international health and development, with a strong focus on HIV.

Lisa has lived and worked in a variety of settings internationally including Eritrea, South Africa, Ghana, Togo, Ethiopia, China, PNG and Indonesia and regularly consults for the non-government sector as well as government and international agencies in the region.

As an HIV and development specialist within the Centre for International Health at the Burnet Institute Lisa contributes to research, academic and tailored teaching programs, country program leadership and technical consultancies. She is currently an honorary senior lecturer at Monash University.
