Fiona Rankin is currently researching a new business venture in the financial services industry. She has twenty (20) years general management experience in the development and management of financial services & technology businesses, and is a specialist in information technology (I.T.) solutions and strategy. Fiona was most recently the C.I.O. of RESIMAC LIMITED where she managed, optimised and drove technology strategy to administer and provide information on a large portfolio of assets.
Fiona’s previous roles were with EDS Australia. Fiona was initially appointed to the position of General Manager, Delivery & Relationships where she was responsible for the support and delivery of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's (CBA) retail banking systems across Asia Pacific. Fiona was then promoted to the position of Senior Program Manager/ Consultant and worked with a number of financial institutions on the delivery of large business and technology programs.
Prior to working with EDS Australia Fiona was an Executive Director of Equity Systems Pty Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Reuters Limited) and held senior management positions with technology companies within the financial services industry.
In 2008, Fiona was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women's Awards.
Fiona is a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Masters, in Business and I.T. Management, in addition to financial management and economics degrees.
