Jason grew up in country South Australia (Mount Gambier), moving to Adelaide in 1987 to attend Flinders University. After completing a degree in Science, Jason’s career started in the Pharmaceutical industry. Throughout the last 19 years he has held a number of different roles, beginning as a Product Development Chemist at Fisons Pharmaceuticals in 1990.
He joined Janssen-Cilag (a division of Johnson&Johnson) in 1998 holding a variety of Sales & Marketing roles until reaching the position of Business Unit Director - General Medicine in 2004.
During 2005 – 6, he moved to the US on international assignment with J&J and, upon return, was employed to lead the Market Access function of Janssen-Cilag Australia. His current role resides in the Business Development function and encompasses licensing & acquisition strategies in 12 Asia Pacific countries. Jason has an 11 year old son (Jaidyn), resides in Sydney and in his spare time enjoys running, squash and reading.
