AUSTRAC
Natali is a senior officer within the International Relations Unit at the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre. AUSTRAC is Australia’s specialist financial intelligence unit and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulator.
In this role, Natali assists in the development of Australian policy aimed at strengthening the international community’s commitment to prosecute and prevent money laundering and terrorism financing. Natali manages AUSTRAC’s relationships with international counterparts, foreign government agencies, regional donors and multilateral organisations.
Prior to joining AUSTRAC, Natali was a senior officer at the Department of Defence, where she contributed to Australia’s defence engagement with Indonesia and East Timor.
Natali holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies) with First Class Honours for her thesis, “Weaving the Country Together: Identities and Traditions in East Timor”, and Master of Arts (Strategic and Policy Studies). She has participated in the Australian Consortium for In-Country Indonesian Studies exchange program, and is a member of the New South Wales State Emergency Services, the East Timor Women’s Association and the Australia East Timor Association.
