Sarah is currently employed as the Corporate Environment Manager for a Chinese owned, but Australian based mining company called the Minerals and Metals Group (MMG). She has been working with this company in its different forms for over 6 years and is responsible for developing and leading the business strategy for consistent environmental management and subsequent positive performance across all areas of the mine life cycle, which must be applied in different countries in which MMG operates. She has been working in the mining industry for 10 years and has been exposed to international mining environments for the last 4 years, including Laos, Indonesia, China, Canada and Mexico. She enjoys the challenge of working with different cultures and providing environmental guidance across the company.
