Currently an Inspector in the Victoria Police with 22 years service in various parts of the police force. Is currently performing a role as Liaison Officer at the Department Of Justice (DOJ) and is responsible for co ordinating partnerships between DOJ and Victoria relating to Crime Prevention. He has recently served as a Local Priority Policing Inspector in Region 3 (Northern) were he was responsible for co ordinating a recent major Victoria Police reform in policing called "Local Priority Policing. This involved changing the focus of policing to a local level were the needs of the community and other Government agencies were taken into account in the provision of services. He will shortly transfer to take up a position as the District Commander at Darebin an inner Northern Local Government Area
He holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration and was the recipient of the 2000 Multi Cultural Community Award for services to the community.
His interests are working in Multi Cultural Communities and has an interest in Middle Eastern and Asian politics and culture.
