Ms Jacyl Shaw

Manager, Development & Sponsorship
The Asialink Centre

Jacyl's core role at Asialink is to identify and secure strategic partnerships and sponsorship for the Asialink Centre as well as manage its growing and diverse membership program and its Dunlop Fellowship Program.

Her love of the Asian region began in her early university years when she studied in Thailand and Japan and traveled extensively around the region with a backpack and open eyes.

Fond memories of her non-work related Asian experiences include completing a 29 day trek in Nepal, getting truly lost on Mt Fuji, learning to rock climb in Southern Thailand, winning a karaoke competition at a weddding in Vietnam (?), meeting Sumo superstar Chiona-fuji and spending too little time at Angkor Wat and its surrounding ruins.

Jacyl hopes that the program will, on a personal level, continue to increase her passion for the Asian region and all the colour and diversity it holds. On a professional level, she hopes it will expose her to new ideas about leadership, new knowledge and networks as well as a renewed committment to developing her capacity for leadership.
