Natalie has undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Arts (Japanese) and a graduate diploma in Japanese. Her interest in Asia was sparked by a wonderful experience as a twelve month AFS high school exchange student in Japan, and further developed after numerous return trips and later travel in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
Natalie currently works as a process control engineer writing software applications to optimise processing plant operations with Qenos, a plastics and rubber manufacturer. Her other pursuits include travel, camping, sport and reading. She’s interested in development and social justice issues and is currently studying for a Masters in International and Community Development.
