One of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life was climbing Mt Kenya. Progressing up the mountain were successive layers of flora and fauna - jungle, buffalo and elephants giving way to open alpine grassland and finally to barren desert. One mountain but with vastly different aspects. With each different aspect I was able to deepen my appreciation of the last.
This is analogous to my view of life. I like to climb mountains - not to get to the top but for the journey. I like to see the world from different aspects, but it's often hard work.
Just as climbing Mt Kenya was.
