Over the last four years I have acted as the Executive Director of the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) and as the Manager of Special Events in Protocol and Special Events Branch within the Department of Premier and Cabinet. These positions have given me extensive experience in the strategic development and management of major public events and celebrations within Victoria.
Prior to commencing with the State Government I was employed as the Operations Manager at Conference Australia Pty Ltd. This private event management company specialised in the coordination of high-level trade and investment conferences, business delegations and exhibitions throughout Asia and Australia.
I look forward to participating in the 2002 Australia Asia New Leaders Program and hope that it will broaden my awareness of the cultures and issues surrounding Australia’s current and future relationships with Asia.
