Senior Project Coordinator
International Health Services Unit

I don't think I can identify a defining moment for me when my interestin Asia began. It seemed to subconsciously develop as I undertook my tertiary studies in politics and I began to realise the extent to which Australia's future is interlinked with Asia. Through my work at AusAID, the government agency for Australia's official development program, I have been exposed to different issues about Asia-Australia relations. I lived in Malaysia for two years which was an enriching experience, and also provided me with an opportunity to travel to other Asian countries.

I am now settled back in Sydney and work as a project coordinator with the international health services unit of the Albion Street Centre. I am looking forward to the challenge of the Asialink program this year and exploring new and different ideas about Australia-Asia relations.
