Ms Kobi-Renee Leins

Articled Clerk, Deacons

I was born in Parkes, NSW, but grew up in Diamond Creek, Victoria, and commuted for a large part of my study between there and Monash.

After stretching my study period over seven years, and getting to the point where I was explaining almost automatically that 'no,' I hadn't failed, and 'yes, it was by choice,' I am now working for Deacons as a soon-to-be lawyer. Over those seven years I circled the globe 4 times, spending nearly three of those seven years overseas. Experiences include a year and a half completing my Honours thesis and working in Berlin, Germany, and two months working at the United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva, Switzerland.

At present I spend most of my spare time with friends and good wine, as well as scuba diving, cycling, swimming, gardening and cooking. I also sometimes do cross-stitch when I am watching movies, except for foreign movies which require watching sub-titles.
