Associate, Baker & McKenzieAaron currently works as a corporate lawyer at Baker & McKenzie in Sydney, but has had previous lives as a Commerce/Law student at UNSW and the University of British Columbia, as a ski instructor in Canada, and has witnessed far too many musicals as a barman in a Sydney theatre.
He spent three months working in the Bangkok office of Baker & McKenzie during the period of recovery following the Asian economic crisis, where his interest for South East Asian politics, economics and culture developed. Aaron has also spent good chunks of time sipping soups and curries through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. He is looking forward to the challenges of the AANLP program, meeting like-minded and not-so-like-minded people, and expanding his knowledge of current issues facing the region.
Aaron enjoys writing travel and food reviews, surfing, skiing, rockclimbing and mountain biking.
