Eija Roti is a University of New South Wales graduate in humanities and law. Her major area of study in humanities was South East Asian history. She continues to travel extensively in East and South East Asia. Since university, Eija has worked in the public sector in justice and human services portfolio areas. She is currently managing strategic policy in the NSW Department of Community Services. This area of work involves whole of government initiatives, inter-jurisdictional work and cost-benefit analysis of existing and proposed business projects. Born in Finland, Eija enjoys winter sports as well as bushwalking and snorkelling.
