Nari Clarke has long held an interest in international health and community development, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. She has worked in Indonesia and Thailand in the field of public health nutrition and has followed her passion for travel in South East Asia.
Nari believes that the Australia-Asia New Leaders Program will provide a unique opportunity to explore Australia-Asia relations in both a stimulating and supportive environment and is looking forward to developing practical skills in leadership and exchanging new ideas and knowledge.
Nari has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Sydney and completed community nutrition training at the Australian Centre for International & Tropical Health & Nutrition (ACITHN) at the University of Queensland. She is currently Project Manager for the Asia Pacific Cohort Studies Collaboration at the Institute for International Health, University of Sydney.
