Stephen Clark has a strong interest in governance issues, human rights, international relations and the Asian region.

Stephen's work at the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF) has enabled him to strengthen his interest in and knowledge of political, economic, social and cultural issues in the Asia Pacific region. Stephen's responsibilities include the management of the APF's annual meetings and regional workshops, drafting of donor applications, management of the internship program and the management and maintenance of the APF's website.

Prior to working with the APF Stephen was at the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission assisting with the implementation of the Australia-China Human Rights Technical Assistance program.

Stephen completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in American and Russian History at the University of Adelaide in 1994 and a Graduate Diploma of Business at the University of South Australia in 1996. He is currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws at the University of New South Wales.

Stephen's interests include bushwalking, tennis, football, swimming, film and theatre, music, reading and travel.
