Born in India, my life and upbringing have been a mix of travel, learning, education and multiculturalism, having lived my life in a range of countries including India, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Australia.
I've enjoyed an accelerated progression through my education and as a consequence have qualified as a Mechanical Engineer and gone on to do a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering. Despite my speciality, I've developed a healthy interest in the humanities and strive to find the balance between technology, humanity and spirituality in the hope of attaining the cutting edge of true progression and sustainable development.
I find nourishment in reading and writing, and endeavour to spend my life in the pursuit of thought and higher learning. I've found fruition to this process in Islam. Living my life in the true light of its teachings and clarifying oft held misconceptions borne out of ill-practice and deliberate distortion through a thought-based educative process have become my mission. In this ever-changing world of today, we need a universal, constructive, problem-solving, dynamic and relevant ideology.
I have a keen interest in conservation, sustainability, justice and leadership, and hence to working together with the Asialink Program to develop further and make a greater impact on the future.
