Dov is a co-founder and director of MedTech Outreach Australia (MedTech). MedTech is an Australian Medical NGO engaged in addressing the digital divide and facilitating capacity building in developing nations, through the application of emerging technologies. The organisation has established a sustainable web based system, Medgnosis, that aids diagnostic and treatment decisions, and enhances medical knowledge sharing in Developing Nations.
To date MedTech has implemented its Medgnosis system, connecting specialists in Sydney with specialists from three hospitals in Vietnam. Currently we are exploring opportunities for further e-health links in Vietnam, Myanmar and Fiji.
Dov is a clinical doctor who has a background in IT. This year he is working part time in emergency, undertaking a Masters of Medicine in ophthalmology and concentrating on expanding MedTech's projects and impact.
