Jian Wang is currently working as Program Manager in Proteome Systems Ltd, Sydney (PSL). He is largely involved in setting up collaborations between PSL and companies in the Biotechnology industries in China. His other major responsibilities in PSL include software development and IT project management.
Jian migrated to Australia in 1996 from China. Prior to his migration, he worked as a Bio-Medical engineer for a medical device company in China.
Jian has a PhD degree in Electrical, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Wollongong, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. He is currently studying a MBA program in Macquarie University.
Jian is interested in all aspects of Aus-China relations. He also enjoys book reading and sports. Now, most of his interests are in his first baby due in May 2004.
