Kelly's career started at Amnesty International Australia where she worked in marketing, communication and campaigning roles. After returning from a year of travel she took the position of Manager Community Engagement at Australian Volunteers International. Kelly is currently working for Oxfam Community Aid Abroad as the Coordinator of the 2004 International Youth Parliament.
Kelly grew up in Lake Macquarie and has lived in Sydney since 1995. She has a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Arts in Development Studies and Anthropology.
