Ian has over 10 years of experience working in large and diverse public sector organisations in education, infrastructure and justice in the areas of corporate finance and law .
Ian's work in the Department of Infrastructure has enabled him to strengthen his interest in developing partnerships between the business, community and government sectors. He also has a keen interest in understanding how Australia can develop collaborative and long lasting relationships with its Asian neighbours through exchanges in business,culture, education, diplomacy and tourism.
Ian has a Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Finance, a Law degree and a Masters of Business Administration. His other interests include spending time with family and friends, travelling (or at least reading the travel guides) and searching for the next taste sensation.
