Ms Neralie Hoadley
Trinity CollegeI am currently teaching in the Foundation Studies Program of Trinity College. This program prepares students, who are predominantly from Asia, for entry to the University of Melbourne. I am Lecturer-in-Charge of EAP, a subject which teaches academic English language skills and I also teach Literature. I have been working at Trinity for nearly a decade now.
My formal studies seem to be quite a long time ago, my M.A. in Applied Linguistics having been finished in 1995 and the Arts and Education qualifications completed in even earlier eras. Nevertheless, life and work seem to keep me focussed on learning.
I am the mother of two teenage girls and we live in the western suburbs of Melbourne. I don’t get many opportunities for travel so I mainly have contact with Asia though my work, through reading and through my involvement with the Karen (Burmese) refugee community in Melbourne.
