Bree is currently Tender Coordinator responsible for tender development and contributing to positioning strategies to win international development assistance contracts for the commercial arm of the University of Wollongong. This activity involves engagement with international markets, predominantly in Asia, the Pacific, and Middle East regions. Major clients include bilateral and multilateral agencies, such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), overseas governments, and private sector organisations.

Previous business development roles include acting as Business Development Manager for IDP Education Australia’s Global Development Services Group, and prior to this, for global sports architecture firm HOK Sport + Venue + Event.

Bree has a Graduate Diploma in Commerce (Information Management) from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Asian Studies with a double major in Chinese Studies and Politics from Murdoch University, WA. Having achieved a broad exposure to international markets through work assignments, Bree has maintained particular interest in China issues since her undergraduate studies during which she spent an intensive language study year in China. Subsequently, Bree has worked in China within the tobacco and entertainment industries, and China has continued to be a focal market in her Australian-based business development roles.
