Senior Site Manager
Bristol-Myers Squibb Australia

Meg Hooton has over 15 years medical research experience in both the public and private sectors. She is a senior Site Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals managing clinical research programs throughout Australia, investigating new treatments for cancer and a variety of immunological disorders. In this role, she has had opportunity to regularly interact with colleagues working on similar R&D programs, to participate in meetings and assist in training colleagues within the Asia-Pacific region.

After dedicating a considerable period of time to nursing Meg wanted to explore new horizons and subsequently completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Monash University, majoring in South-East Asian History and Politics. Her experience as an undergraduate together with travel in the region has driven her passion for Asia ever since

To keep some semblance of balance in her life Meg regularly indulges in the joys of early morning swimming, reading purely for pleasure, practising pilates and attending amateur hockey games across Melbourne with any one of her three children.
Meg has a strong desire to explore future opportunities in Asia, China or Japan.
