Anson Mak is the Finance & Development Director for North Shore Development Centre, an Australia-wide tuition centre catering for primary and secondary school students. His main roles are to co-ordinate tuition for students and assist with company finances. His job also involves dealing with many migrant parents wanting support and/or assistance with their child‚s education.
Having completed degrees in Commerce (Finance), Law and Educational Administration at University of New South Wales, he worked in South East Asia before joining National Australia Bank, specialising in Securitisation, before moving into education via his current role. Anson has a keen interest in gifted education, finding effective learning solutions to support students of all abilities such as through tutoring, intervention strategies to improve problem solving, and Australialia's relationship with Asian countries, in particular Hong Kong and China. His other interests include: bridge, travelling, golf, swimming, food and wine, and numismatics.
