Eman Dandan
Ms Eman Dandan
Office Coordinator
Lebanese Muslim Association
Eman Dandan is currently the Office Manager of the Lebanese Muslim Association, a non-profit organisation that serves the needs of the Australian Muslim community. As a welfare worker with a community that is continuously under scrutiny, Eman is dedicated to providing much needed advocacy skills in today‚s society. One area of advocacy that Eman is heavily involved with is providing cross-cultural and religious training for non-profit organisations, government agencies and tertiary institutions.
Eman is involved in both local council and community based advisory boards. This includes the Ryde - Hunters Hill Community Harmony Reference committee, working closely in improving interfaith dialogue and understanding in the local community. Eman is also passionately involved with the Muslim Students‚ Associations Advisory Board, which overlooks the interests of Muslim students both local and international at all the major tertiary institutions in N.S.W. This is linked closely with a deep concern for the lack of support received by Muslim tertiary students from the Asia-Pacific region.
Eman enjoys reading and watching reruns of Seinfeld.
