This project will produce a cook-book consisting of the recipes of up to 300 young delegates attending the Oxfam International Youth Parliament. The book will include information about the recipe contributor's work for social change, linking these two themes together. The aim of the book is 'soft advocacy', It is intended that the book will be published and sold commercially to support further youth social change.

This project will initiate through Charles Darwin University and the NT Government, short educational courses for Chinese Business people. These will be credited through CDU and facilitated by Singapore (Chinese) expertise.
The Singaporean Chinese partners will assist to bridge the cultural divide between Australia and Chinea, and provide advice to all partners as to how it may impact on business conduct and expectations in each country.

It will comprise three articles and seven profiles of young and successful Australian graduates working overseas. The three articles will answer questions about why so many Australians work overseas, what Australians at home think about the diaspora, and what it means to the nation. The seven profiles will cover diplomacy, aid and development, banking, consulting, law, journalism and hospitality.

This project will undertake an environment scan to ascertain the current situation in regard to Australian government, academics , NGO’s and Burmese community in Australia regarding their involvement with Burma.
Stage 2:
Drawing from the findings of stage one, a series of recommendations will be produced to enable NGO’s to draw their own conclusions based on the most up to date and informed analysis possible at this time.

This project will be in four stages:
Environment scan: This stage will explore the historical factors that have shaped the financial services landscape in India (cultural, political, institutional, and economic factors). It will identify key players in today’s financial services in India. This will include multinational companies and also local Indian companies. Key success factors for these businesses will be identified.
Gap analysis: Identify relevant gaps in the market that provide an opportunity for GBST.
Audit: Audit GBST’s capacity for entry in the market and conduct a cost/benefit analysis of entry.
Report: Produce a report making recommendations as to the viability of entry into the Indian market.

The project will invite 6 young, newly elected Indian Parliamentarians to Australia in the later part of 2004. The visit will be 10 days in duration and visit Sydney/Canberra/Melbourne. Costs of the visit will be met through Corporate donation/contribution. With the assistance of DFAT, the participants will be identified as having a strong interest in Australian/Indian affairs and/or identified as future political leaders of influence.The project will be jointly undertaken by Asialink (Dean Smith) and the Australia Asia Young Leaders Program (AAYLP).

The aim of the project is to establish a not for profit organization as a forum for scientists and entrepreneurs in the biotechnology field from Australia and China to discuss key topics of mutual scientific and commercial interests. The organization may focus on proteomics initially.
The organization will not only work as the bridge between the two countries, but more importantly, has the influence build collaborations with stakeholders and attendees to deal with the mutual challenges they are facing.
The whole project is expected to last for 2.5 – 3 years. The majority of the work for this project will be around forming the concept, marketing it to stakeholders and organizing the establishment of the organization

Urban Theatre Projects (UTP)’s unique contribution to Australian theatre over the last 24 years has been to establish a model for dialogue between community practice and contemporary theatre practice. It has a national and international reputation for producing large-scale cross art form work, in collaboration with artists from cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
The Company has been inundated with requests for advice and support from artists and organisations who wish to create this type of work, or engage in a collaborative process with community participants or CALD artists.
This project will produce a new Research & Reference section as part of the Company’s web site that will provide documented processes, theory, resource and reference materials.
The site will look at implications and considerations for management and artistic functions. Essays will be commissioned from artists working at the forefront of cross-cultural collaboration.
The site could also have links to other web-based materials and organisations.
